Ramble #22: Bovary

Have you read Gustave Flaubert’s Madame Bovary? Even thoug it’s on my classics’ TBR, I haven’t either. But today I watched a play called Bovary, it explored the controversy that Madame Bovary rose at the time of its publication. And it was great! It just made me want to read the book even more!

The play is from a portuguese artist and, even even though it’s been used as an argument by a Parisiense editor for a defense in a lawsuit, it is only possible to watch on portuguese theaters… I know I have some portuguese followers, so if you’re interested don’t hesitate to check it out! (Or if you’re not portuguese but are planning to come here soon!)

Bovary by Tiago Rodrigues, 100% recommend 😉
